Anthony is going to tease me about this, but I've decided to start blogging. There is a good chance that most of my blogs will have to do with BBQ's, or my baby Kedzie (Dog). But I guess anything is fair game. I figured if I cyber stalk everyone else while I'm bored at work I should give them the chance to do the same. :-)
If you are reading this you probably aren't someone who I talk to all the time, so I'll give you quick recap of the last few years: (Feel free to click on the links to see some of my work or photos)
- After high school is worked at Disneyland for a little over 3 years (Plaza Inn, Innoventions, & the Walt Disney Travel Company).
- I went to Rancho (Santa Ana, and Santiago Canyon College), where I was eventually Editor in chief of the "el Don" and met my future husband. I spent 3 years there and got my AA in liberal arts.
- Halfway through my Freshman year my family moved to Salt Lake, UT. I stayed in the house I grew up in and subletted to cover the mortgage. This was a very crazy, emotional, but eventually enlightening time in my life.
- The last year I was at Rancho, My then Boyfriend went way to school in Kansas and we had a long distance relationship.
- A year later when I was done with my AA I took Giant leap of faith and followed him to Kansas State University.
- My time in Kansas was amazing, I loved the people, and the the student paper.
- Unfortunately I probably loved the paper to much and eventually became Editor in chief and pretty much had no time left for class.
- Over the summer that I was in KS I interned in New York for People magazine. and When Anthony came out to visit me after 3 years he proposed.
- The following December when I had finished my term as Editor and Anthony had graduated we moved back to Orange County.
- We lived with his parents, planed our wedding, and started our design jobs at the Register.
- In July we were married at my Parents place in Hemet, CA, by my uncle ( an LDS Bishop)
- In November of 2007 the tenants renting my parents old house in Orange Move out and we (and some roommates) moved in.
- In January we adopted our spoiled baby Kezie from the pound.
If you are some who I have lost touch with over the years, I'd love to hear from you! I'll ad some back photos soon. -Em
